JCM 478 Fabricated Threaded Outlet Tapping Sleeve
Body: ASTM A516 Grade 70, ASTM A36 or equal.
Gasket: Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR, Buna-N) per ASTM D2000. Molded virgin rubber with a pressure activated hydromechanical design. Gasket is bonded into a cavity for internal and external retention. Gasket temperature range -40 o F to 212 o F (-40 o C - 100 o C) Gasket suitable for water, salt solutions, mild acids, bases, and sewage. Options: Various gasket materials available. Bolts: Corrosion resistant, high strength low alloy oval neck track head bolts per A242, A193 B5, B7 and heavy hex nuts per A563 or equal. Options: A242, A193 B5, B7 and heavy hex nuts per A563 coated, Powercron 590-534 A193 B8 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel hardware
Finish: Heavy coat of corrosion resistant shop coat primer. Options: Fusion epoxy coating available.
