Note that the hardware for the fitting has been packaged separately from the fitting. This fitting was provided epoxy coated with stainless steel hardware (for corrosion resistance). Stainless steel hardware should be handled carefully to protect the threads from damage and any dirt/debris from entering the threads of bolts/nuts. Keeping hardware clean and lubricated
will ensure the proper tightening of the bolts.
